Great tasting candyNov 29, 2009

I love eating these candies. The only reason that I am not giving them a 5th star is that they are very attached to the wrapper. I can be a bit of a sticky business to get them from the bag onto the tongue, but the taste is worth it. And 10 calories per pop is not too much given their rich flavor and sweetness.

My husband and I swear by these little Nips! Whenever we are hungry..it really does the trick. 2 pieces = 1 pt on Weight Watchers. A must have for anyone watching their sugar intake.

I love Nips coffee candy - since I need to cut down on sugar, I ordered these. They do not taste like the regular Nips coffee candy, but they are still good tasting. The batch I got was melted and had run out of the wrapper. The pieces are all stuck together, so you could definitely not put a bunch of them in your purse or stick them in a pocket like I like to do. The 3 rating is because of the mess, not the candy. I recently bought some Woerther's sugarless coffee candy to carry in my purse, cause I have to eat the Nips candy when I'm at home and can wash them off my hands - they make a mess.
They are sweetened with Maltitol, not Sucralose.

as an incipient diabetic I am always on the alert for sugar free products, in this case, a sweet treat with few calories as well - when my local grocery store quit carrying them, I turned to Amazon where buying in bulk is less expensive than buying individual packages was at the store - I particularly like the fact that one piece of candy lasts a long time, satisfying any cravings for sweets without the sugar. Other sugar free products have occasionally caused stomach upset but not the caramel Nips
