I have been using Nido for several months now. I wanted a powdered milk that would dissolve nicely in cold water and this one does it perfectly. I bought it originally for baking, but it has become so popular in my household that I don't even bother to buy milk or half and half anymore. Great to drink alone or in your coffee and makes a tasty hot chocolate mix, better than any of those on the market today.

This is nice just to have in your pantry for those times you are out of milk and need some for baking, cooking, etc. It's a fine powdered whole milk not powdered skim milk, so has a good whole milk flavor. Also good to keep around if you are just one person or even two, who don't drink much milk. If you need it for baking or whatever then you have it.

Since the demise of "Mr. Milkman" powdered milk, I have looked for a comparable product. Nido instant milk was suggested to me by other grieving former Milkman customers and I am so glad I tried it. It has good whole milk quality. Excellent taste and texture, especially compared to the low or no fat powdered milks that you find in the grocery store, which taste like chalk. (Try finding powdered WHOLE milk at your local store - good luck!)
It's perfect to add to a hot beverage. It blends easily. (This specific product does NOT have added sugar. Beware, a children's version of Nido does.) Although it is not Mr. Milkman, it's a close second. And I am very grateful that I have found it.

Nido has become the powdered milk of choice for backpacking trips. It's got a very creamy taste that goes great with oatmeal or cereal. We pre-mix it would instant coffee (add a bit of cocoa too) for a tasty breakfast or after dinner caffeine fix. Once you try this, you'll never go back to non-fat dry milk!

this milk tastes great but I did end up finding it at walmart cheaper so check your prices first before buying.
