This mix is ideal for keeping on your desk and having very small handfulls throughout the day. A bag would last about 2 weeks.

The mix of tastes is excellent.

5Great tastingNov 23, 2008

I ordered these and the goji berries alone. I perfer the mixed berries and togther they taste great. The goji's alone had a bit of an aftertaste I wasn' fond of, although if I make my own mix of nuts and other dried berries with the Goji's sprinkled in they are fine.

5Blissful Culinary Experience - Fountain of YouthNov 10, 2011

I researched gogi berries and discovered they have a polysaccharide which is the organic equivalent of human growth hormone - check it out on Wikipedia!

these are delicious and very good for your health with tons of nutrients

even junk food junkies will love gogi berries - they are VERY sweet and intense flavor experience. i like to put some in a plastic baggie inside my purse and munch on them while i'm out doing errands - the gogi berries are a nice contrast with walnuts - make your own trail mix and put some of these gogi berries in them. i also soak some gogi berries in water and it makes a nice sweet drink with a squirt of lemon juice and cool mint tea for a lovely refresshing beverage rich in healthy nutrients - yummy!

amazon has a great price and i think I bought this through DEEP DISCOUNT feature of "Subscribe and Save" - i get a lot of organic food from Amazon with this feature and it gives about 15% discount PLUS free shipping.

the problem for me is the packaging states "Made in China". I do not eat anything grown in China nor do I buy consumer goods from China. It is the most polluted place on earth, plus most of the factories are SLAVE LABOR.

navitas is a reputable company - the label says "organic" but since china is so polluted who can really believe if it is organic or not? I sent Navitas an email last week and asked them WHO certifies it is organic and more details about the growing practices and if it is a Fair Trade type farm in China they buy their gogi berries from. Never got an answer.

i found out you can easily GROW gogi berries in a temperate climate - am going to try growing it from rootstock I bought online from an organic nursery.

5Excellent (healthy, albeit pricey) snack!May 12, 2011

For my tastes, this is an awesome mix -- unlike the stuff you'll typically find in, and expect of, a trail mix. So beware, you may love it like I do, or not. The Goldenberry adds a zesty zing to the mix. I'd be using more of it, but it's pretty expensive.

2Not worth itMay 23, 2010

The berries are of good quality, but I find them rather tasteless and too sweet. Won't buy these again. The golden berries are much better.
