I USED THIS FOR HOME MADE BISCUITS.
BUTTERMILK MAKES THEM SOFTER.
HOWEVER, WITH POWDERED MILK
AS WELL AS HIGHER ALTITUDES,
I FIND IT NEEDS MORE BAKING POWDER
TO RISE BETTER.

I hate when I need a cup of buttermilk, but have to buy a quart at the store. Even though buttermilk has a longer shelf life, it goes to waste. This stuff is great for muffins, pancakes, and Irish soda bread. Just so you are aware, a four-pack sounds like a lot but each pack only makes about 3 or 4 cups of buttermilk.

This came to me tasting fresh. It's perfect for making up batches of pancake mix. I use it in gluten free recipes and it's very delicious. Once the package is opened, I put the unused portion in a glass jar.

I searched trying to find a true fresh buttermilk (store bought buttermilk is cultured skim milk); this is a great product to keep on hand. Surprisingly fresh taste and very convenient for making buttermilk pancakes, etc.
