Mustapha's Moroccan Caperberries, 64-Ounce Tub

SKU:

This product is currently out of stock
Description:

Mustapha's caperberries are cured in a vinegar and salt brine, providing a somewhat tangy and nutty taste, which is not as strong or flavorful as a caper - their texture is often reminiscent of a cornichon. It has a much less intense flavor than a caper. They are preserved in water, vinegar, and salt. Caperberries can be eaten like olives; in fact, they can make an interesting alternative in a martini. Use these crunchy, mildly tangy Moroccan caperberries in salads, antipasto, or tapas. They grow wild around the Mediterranean, flourishing in the same climates as olives, and in fact, we have come to recognize the flavor of a caper as classic Mediterranean. They are cultivated and collected in their natural range - in Spain, the south of France, Italy, Dalmatia, Greece, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, and especially Morocco.

2Never got the productJul 08, 2009
By A. Azua
I ordered the product twice and I never got it. The first time I got an email after two weeks saying that UPS damaged the package and I got reimbursed. I order the product again and the same thing happened. Only that this time I got reimbursed for half the money. I contacted Amazon and they apologized and I got the full refund. I had the party where I was going to serve the caper berries so I never ordered it for a third time. They should fix their shipping containers because the packaged keeps getting damage.
