AddictiveFeb 15, 2012
By cBock Warning: Your hands may become dry from over-washing because this soap smells so unbelievably good.
One whiff and you'll be hooked. I first tried this soap at a buddy's house. She warned me of it's addictive nature, but I used it anyway. Now look at me. I'm writing this review on my laptop while soaking in a bathtub filled with Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Scented Clean Day Liquid Hand Soap.
This soap is so cosmic that it is imperative that you buy a 6-pack of 34-oz refills. Heck buy two 6-packs. Yes, 408 oz is just barely enough. You will not be disappointed.
Ok, so seriously. This soap is great. Smells glorious, cleans well. I have a bottle in the kitchen and bathroom that I refill. It's the only hand soap I use.

Cleans With A Scent You'll Want To Inhale - Also Great For Other UsesNov 24, 2010

"Laurie's Boomer Views"
I originally found these at my local market. They were on a "close-out" deal and because I already knew I liked the Mrs. Meyer's for cleaning products with natural ingredients that worked wonderfully,it was a deal I couldn't refuse. I grabbed up a couple of the 12.5 oz. dispensers. After the first use,I put them back on my shopping list to grab up any more that may have beem left at the store. I also checked here to compare prices and found this great deal on the refills - and lucky for me because on my next shopping trip I discovered the dispensers were all gone. Not a big surprise.
I also saw the dispensers sold here in both multi-packs and singles, but this refill pack was the bigger bargain, especially knowing that I would be using this quite a bit. This soap is wonderful for hand cleaning. it's gentle and leaves a lavender scent that you'll want to inhale all day. According to the bottle lavender is "Aromatherapeutic",for it's soothing qualities and "believed to relieve fatigue". And I believe all of it!
Using with hot water and washing for "at least 30 seconds" should leave your hands clean and germ free. But I found several other perks for this soap. After cooking with fish, onions, garlic or other foods that left a smell on my hands, this lavender soap took care of that leaving it's fresh scent instead. I liked it so much I even occasionally take it in the shower with me. I also found it to be a great soap for hand washable delicate clothing. Not only does it gently clean and leave the lavender scent on those as well, but it only took a couple of pumps to fill my basin with with suds and rinsed REALLY easily as well.
So you don't have to buy the pumps first. If you have any hand soap pumps or even diswashing soap bottles, just rinse then out real well and add this refill to them. I keep one in my kitchen and one in the bathroom.
So if you just want to try one dispenser first, check your market - I found mine not in with the regular hand soaps, but in the section where the more natural beauty products were sold - or it is also sold here(in singles) at:Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Liquid Hand Soap, Lavender, 12.5 Ounce Bottle, but unlike this multi- refill pack there are shipping charges on the singles.
Ingredients are listed on the detail/product page where it is sold.

can't find these anywhere in storesMar 12, 2010
By Domesticized This 6 pack of the Lavender Hand Soap by Mrs. Meyers is a great product. After trying to find a refill pack in stores (Home Depot, Target, etc) I went online to my favorite online reseller and found this listing. At the current price of about $41 you're paying roughly $6.85 for each refill. Each pack will refill your 12 oz pump bottle almost 3 times (33oz.). The pump bottle in stores ranges from $4.50 - $6.00. This purchase in total is about the equivalent of buying 18 pump bottles worth of soap. Do the math, it's a no brainer. If you like this soap you can't go wrong buying it in bulk through Amazon.

great smelling, eco-friendly handsoapMar 02, 2010

Bought a few small bottles at Wholefoods a few times and really liked it. Not as drying on the hands as antibacterial soaps. Really like this Geranium scent the best. And of course love the Refills so we don't have to keep getting the small bottles. It had to be Amazon that carried the refills.

Great productFeb 07, 2010
By The Dingo We became acquainted with this product at Grand Hotel on Mackinack Island. It is the standard hand soap in all the rooms and has been for years. Every year they place thousands of geraniums on the front porch(the longest in the world) and the fragrance is great. I'm not particularly fond of the new package( a soft pack) but it is sturdy and easy to use, so there is little to complain about except that I prefer bottles. All in all a fantastic product that reminds us of a great hotel and good times there.
