I wanted something that wouldn't leave a residue on my dishes/glasses. This still left residue, not as much as others I've tried, but still a film on my glasses. Maybe I have really hard water, but I don't know. My experience with the Lemon Verbena scent has always been pleasant, but this wasn't quite as pleasant. It was tolerable, but not pleasing.

5Cook alot, tons of dishes, Eco-friendly.Nov 24, 2010
By Norseman
I have been using this product for over 6 months now. And I really like it! It works well and does not leave any stains in cups like I had when using the Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent. I cook all the time( at least 2 full meals a day) and quite often have some large loads of dishes. These work well, even in a full load! They are individual little packs like you see of Cascade and Finish. You just pop one into the main wash box and use it like any other brand. They also work well as a cleaner for bath tubs and sinks when opened and mixed in a bowl with some salt and water to form a paste! The smell of the Lemon Verbena is also very nice, lite and clean. It does not stay on the dishes though, just smells nice while washing. I also use the hand soap and liquid dish soap, they both work well to remove dirt, grease and they suds well. I have also tried the laundry detergent, but didn't have good luck with that.

4Best I've found...Jan 11, 2012

I like these - seems to be the best eco brand I've found that gets stuff clean. However, there are times when I have scum left on my dishes - I usually have to refill the "jet dry" tank with white vinegar and then I'm good to go again.

5Mrs. Meyer's cleans dishesAug 22, 2011
By Denny
I had tried every kind of detergent for my dishwasher that there is, green and not so green and always ended up hand washing half of the load. I was using Mrs. Meyer's dish detergent and liked it very much so when I saw her packs for the dishwasher I couldn't wait to try them. Wow! It's so nice to see my dishes sparkle when I take them out of the dishwasher and to not have to wash them again. And I love the smell of lemon verbena. I get that for all my Mrs. Meyer's products. It's light and clean smelling. Well worth the money.

5Excellent productMay 18, 2012

Like all of the other Mrs Myer's products I've tried, this is great. Dishes come of clean, no residue, no chemical smell. No, it doesn't sandblast the food off my dishes like the scary, toxic products do, but that's OK with me. I have a dog. He's always happy to rinse the dishes... :)

Seriously though, yes I have to rinse my dishes. That's a trade off I happily accept to protect my septic system, well water and the environment in general.
