5Found my favorite cereal on AmazonApr 01, 2008
By Astrodeals "Gary"
Like everyone else I had been looking for this cereal in my local grocery store with no luck. It was on the shelf of my local grocery store during Halloween which I bought 2 boxes and let my 12 year old son try it out. I had told him I used to eat this cereal when I was a kid and he really liked it. We went back to get a couple more boxes and much to our dismay it was gone and the store wasn't going to restock as they said it had become a seasonal item. Amazon had been out of stock of the cereal for a while and just by chance I happened to see that Amazon had restocked and I ordered a case and got the free shipping. The day UPS delivered it to my door I cracked open a box and poured myself a nice big bowl of Franken Berry cereal and remembered how good it had been to be a kid.Sometimes it's the simple things in life that bring back a good childhood memory.

5Still as yummy as I remembered!May 12, 2008

Frankenbery was my fave cereal as a kid in the 80's. I hadn't seen it in years so I sort of forgot about it. Then my mom sent me a bunch of old pics and in one of them I was at the kitchen table, about 7 years old, with a box of Frankenberry. I began looking around in stores to see if I could find it but I didn't. Then it occured to me to search for it her. I found it and ordered immediately. I arrived incredibly fast...3 days literally! That first bowl was decadent. I think the only negative about getting 12 boxes is learning to exercise self-control. Other than that, it's just as delicious as I remembered and the milk turned pink, strawberry delicious. It's so great when things are not made "new and improved"....it's still perfect. Enjoy!

5Frankenberry great in the off-seasonJul 26, 2010
By Nancy
My daughter wanted Frankenberry for her birthday in June. You can't get Frankenberry in June at the local retailers; it's a Halloween item. I've been able to get hard-to-find items at Amazon.com, so it was my first choice. I had a case shipped directly to my daughter & she was very surprised. I was also pleased that the freshness date was well into 2011.
