These are Wonderful!Oct 23, 2007
By K. Heusser I have purchased these in the past and plan to purchase more. The previous disappointed reviewer was probably expecting a somewhat sour cherry flavor, these are sweet, but not like those yucky (to me) canned sweet cherries. Rainier cherries are not like regular cherries, I think they taste more like miniature nectarines and in my opinion are the finest cherry there is and wouldn't you know it, they are the most expensive too.

Rainier cherries vary greatly and I would suspect that some people would find these outstanding whereas others would find them just very good. But no one would complain. They're sweet and firm and juicy. Yes, I've had better, but as I said - rainier cherries vary and different people have slightly different preferences. If I got these in a bowl of cereal at a restaurant, I definitely would not complain. Good value for what you get.

bland, poor tasting cherriesJan 12, 2007
By C. Hirt I ordered these because I love dried cherries to eat plain and to bake with as well. I was disappointed when I tried them after having arrived - they taste like a cross between raisins and dried stawberries. I would not recommend buying this product
