How to stop your dogs from eating their own poo!!!Jul 23, 2008
By mish dish I happened upon this idea while at a local bookstore. I was having problems with my labs coming in from outside stinking and drooling and everything else that goes with the disgusting behavior of what is known as coprophagia-Poo-eating. So, I started by buying the real small little bottles of tenderizer, wetting the food down, and then pouring on 1-2 tsp of tenderizer over the top. The problem immediately seemed to settle down (although it does pick up in the winter for the poop-sicles). Anyway, this is definately the way to go to save a few dollars and not have to keep running to the store, buying them out of tenderizer. And, it does not contain MSG which is of added benefit. Who knows what that does to a doggie's tummy?
