I love the variety in this package except the dark orange pieces (I don't what fruit they are). They're very bitter, and I usually pick them out of the bag. I wish there were more coconut pieces though, since they're my favorite.

Mariani's Tropical Medley of dried fruits is a delicious mix. My kids and I absolutely love it. There are all kinds of different colors, flavors,and textures here, as the medley includes pineapple, apricots, papaya, raisins, golden raisins, apples, and coconut. I would have given this product five stars, but it does have added sugar and yellow dye number 6. Still, it's a great snack and a far better choice for a sweet craving than candy!

I have used Tropical Medley for years in Orange-Glazed Tropical Fruit Scones. A Pillsbury Bake-Off Recipe by Fran Neavoli 1966. Other fruit mixes just do not work as well.
