Very economical and delicious nutrition.Apr 08, 2010
By cliftonia These flakes smell so very good. I love using them in soup and meat dishes. A little bit goes a long way, making this a fairly cheap way to get iodine and other good nutrients into your diet. The plastic packaging is also biodegradable.

Product arrived in short order and is just fine. I use it instead of salt on vegetables or add it to salads. There is an occasional little crunch of shell, but I have gotten over that.

I love these dulse flakes. I make peanut sauce noodles very frequently and dulse flakes are a great addition that is healthy. It's a great source especially of iodine but also iron, vitamin B6, and B12. Low in sodium although they add a salty flavor!

healthy, salty tasteJul 18, 2011
By Sandy L. Warf If you're trying to cut back on salt, these dulse flakes are a natural and healthy way to add a salty taste with minimum sodium. I use them mostly on beans and eggs.
