Glad to find Polar tuna on Amazon; it's becoming harder and harder to find it in a supermarket. The best canned tuna I've eaten. It's almost all solid pieces, not the usual canful of mush you get from other brands of "solid" tuna. And it doesn't have the usual nasty aftertaste of fish and tin.

This is a very high quality tuna, combined with the economy of bulk savings and Amazon delivery. Try tuna fish salad with this....you won't go back! Great!

I am a huge fan of POLAR TUNA thus 5 stars. The can does NOT have a pull-tab! I ordered these for convenient lunches on the quick. As I order the regular cans by the large case these would supplement my pantry for grab and go convenience. NOT SO! Just paid more for the same tuna I could have purchased when I renew my regular case.

I have been a Polar Tuna customer for about four years now. Polar is by far superior than any other brand you can buy. Until recently I was on the automatic reorder program for my Polar with Amazon, and for $38.00 a case for 24 cans that was truely a great deal. Then a couple of months ago Amazon informed me that they were cancelling that program. I was very disappointed. I contacted Polar (who were kind enough to respond to me almost immediately) and Amazon and was told that there was a problem between Amazon and Polar but they hoped to resolve the issue and once again start selling Polar on Amazon. Keep in mind that I have told many people about this Polar product and they also were buying it from Amazon. Well sure enough last month Polar was now available from Amazon again but now it was a bit higher in price, $8 dollars a case more but still with free shipping. Still a great deal. I ordered two cases which arrived promptly and stacked them on the shelf. Now for those of you who have never opened a can of Polar let me explain that when you open a can and squeeze out the water the lid barely compresses, I mean the water comes out but the lid barely moves and when you remove it whats inside is a can full of tuna not this mush you get with other brands. I'm sorry to say that thats not the case with the Polar I recent recieved. There is definately more water and less tuna now in the cans. The lid compresses much further down in the can, more water comes out and the huge chunk of tuna left inside the can is now more chunks instead of a huge chunk of tuna. I'm sure there is still six ounces inside the can, but the ratio of tuna to water is definately less tuna and more water. Still a bargain but not the great deal it use to be. I realize that every food manufacturer is doing it with their products but it is a big dissappointement to me that it has happened with Polar, just another example of greed and giving the consumer less for their money.

Definitely better than " Chicken of the Sea" and "Bumblebee" brands of Albacore. Firm and delicious with only a minimal amount of water pack. Best I've had of the water packed!
