 Absolutely REVOLTING!May 07, 2012

I had really high hopes for MTR products, given the high reviews I've seen on Amazon. I bought a 5-pack of this vegetable mix, and it's just disgusting. I am very passionate about Indian cooking, and cook Indian food at least 4 times a week (and am an Indian myself). Firstly, MTR seems to use the exact same sauce base for all the curries (I bought the Paneer Makhani and it has the same revolting flavor base), and the sauce is just not right! If you tell me that it has Indian flavors, I won't disagree with you. But Indian spices need to be used better - they must be matured properly by cooking them off in hot oil, adding aromatics in the right amounts, etc. And the vegetables were semi-raw, with no flavors inside the veggies .. all in all, it can be a poor man's emergency meal, but no way on earth does it even REMOTELY deserve the number of stars it has! Very very bad food indeed .. =(

I love spicy, I love curry and I love vegetables, so I really love this meal. The curry is hearty and filling, especially for lunch. It only takes 2 minutes to heat, so it is great for a quick lunch if you are busy working.

This is absolutely DELICIOUS!! Wow! I eat it with (also delicious!!) Annie Chuns Sticky Rice : http://www.amazon.com/Annie-Chuns-Express-7-4-Ounce-Microwavable/dp/B000GPTC8U. I sometimes add little bit of chicken or ground beef, but without meats it's absolutely delicious!! I can eat twice from it but am a small eater. This is going to become a subscription as I have the rice already...mmmmmmmmm!!

Really a nice and tasty product, but could have been less oily. It is one of the better products from MTR and I will surely order more!
