5An Indian delight!Oct 01, 2008
By Deepak Gupta
For all those Indians who are staying away from home and miss the food their mom's cook, this dish can bring a smile to your face. Spicy and delicious. One of the better MTR dishes out there.

4Drumsticks!!!Jul 25, 2008
By Girish
The only reason i am writing this review is to explain what the "big" green things are. (see previous review.)
These green things are pods that grow on a tree are (sometimes) referred to as "drumsticks" in India. They are no thicker that a finger and are 12" to 24 inches long and awfully tough- hence the name.

They are a traditional ingredient in this dish- and though i dont care much for these "drumsticks", this dish is one of very few MTR has got right. it pretty much needs to be eaten over soft/ sticky rice.

1Not as good as beforeMay 16, 2010

The product quality has slipped. It used to be made well with quality ingredients. The manufacturer should focus on quality control and product consistency.

2Extremely spicyJul 06, 2008
By Maureen Shea
I know most Indian food is spicy, but I didn't see anything in the listed ingredients so I thought I'd give it a shot. There are big pieces of something green that I don't think humans should be eating :)

If I dig out the big green things, dilute it with lots of dairy to tone it down, and put it over rice or potatoes I can eat it without being up all night with indigestion.

It's probably ok if you like spicy food.
