4Perfect for Simulating Starbucks White Chocolate MochasDec 10, 2008
By Alex Kah "ack"
I recently purchased a coffee maker and numerous ingredients in an attempt to simulate Starbucks White Chocolate Mochas in an attempt to save money. This being one of the primary ingredients I have mastered and possibly even exceeded my expectations and now I am saving over $5/day that I used to spend at Starbucks. It is much nicer to drink my Coffee from my home office without having to make the daily trip to Starbucks.

I use this Frappe Mix along with a Senseo Coffee maker to create my own White Chocolate Mochas and it has been a huge success. I will be ordering more of this mix once I run out.

My only complaint is I wish it came in some sort of can with a scoop instead of the bag that it comes in.

4Part of my Starbucks replacement recipeJun 24, 2010
By Space case
After getting somewhat addicted to Starbucks White Mocha Frappe's, I decided I could probably save a lot of money and make my own. I bought this and Torani's White Chocolate sauce. I also like mine with a pump of Sugar Free Hazelnut, so I also bought Torani brand through Amazon.

For coffee, I bought 2-lb bags for French Roast beans at Costco. I grind and then make a strong pot of coffee (14 heaping teaspoons per 10 cups of coffee). After the coffee is made, I pour it into ice cube trays and freeze them.

The recipe is to add about 1 ½ cups of milk (I use 1%) in a blender, about two tablespoons of the White Chocolate Frappe mix, one "squirt" of the white mocha sauce, and one pump of the SFH. Last, I add eight coffee ice cubes. I blend it all up, and it makes about 20 oz. of Frappe.

Both my wife and I like it as much if not more that Starbucks, and of course it's much cheaper. By using both our Prime membership and the Amazon Subscribe and Save, it's even less, the supplies are always on the shelf.

The only little annoying downside (why I didn't give it five stars) is that the instructions say to add one scoop to make a frappe. Unfortunately, they don't include a scoop in the bag, nor can I find a definition of a scoop. So I just experimented until I liked the taste.

Torani Original Mocha Sauce, White Chocolate, 16.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)
Torani Sugar-Free Syrup, Hazelnut, 25.4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

1Waste of my moneyNov 17, 2011

I was so excited when I ordered this product and received it today. When I put the box on my counter I notice powder spilling out of the packaging box. I opened up the box and the bag had popped open about half an inch at the top and about a cup of powder had spilled inside the box. I don't know whether it had burst open or been open but I personally don't trust an open food package when I buy it. I can't even return the product because of it's "no return" return policy. Waste of my $25 and extremely disappointed...stick with starbucks and don't let what happened to me happen to you.

5So good!Oct 17, 2011

Definitely tastes like white chocolate, not vanilla (as someone asked in the comments of a review.) I mixed it up as the directions stated and it tasted like a perfectly blended milkshake - minus the ice cream, of course. If you're looking for an amazing drink, try it out!

For those curious, it does contain coffee, but I couldn't taste it. Try adding espresso instead of milk for extra coffee taste. Alternatively, Big Train's White Chocolate Frappe mix actually does taste strongly of coffee, but I don't think the flavor for it is as good as MoCafe.

Other reviewers for MoCafe drinks complain about the "scoop" system. The back of this bag actually lists what a "scoop" is: it's 8 tablespoons.

5BEST WHITE CHOCOLATE DRINK EVERSep 18, 2010

Ever since I tried the white chocolate caramel lixir from godiva, I have been dying for white chocolate drinks. I use this mix as it says on the package except I add in extra creamy vanilla ice cream. Its a very addictive drink. Way too good!!!!
