This bar has a pleasing taste - to me. Hunger goes away after I eat just one. So, they're good for an on-the-go quick snack - only 200 calories per bar.

These Macrobars are one of the very few snacks that are organic and made from carob. The bars are enjoyable and taste very good. I recommend them without hesitation and would purchase them again.

These bars have great texture and great ingredients, but they made one mistake--they used coconut oil. That's the dominant taste--coconut. Not Carob or Almond. If they used an oil that doesn't have a strong taste, they'd be great. Disappointing.

Carob is one of the best of the natural sweeteners. The other ingredients in this product did not sit well with my stomach though. Every person will handle it differently. I'm not sure what they are saying "tastes-like-chocolate". The carob I'm sure does taste like chocolate. But, the bar itself does not. The bar tastes a little more like rice than anything else to me.
