I have used this product for filling in coffee cakes and also as filling in raisin bread. It is wonderful! Absolutely delicious. It is very consistent, which is exactly what a baker wants! I have used numerous cans and I am a customer for life!

This stuff is great. It tastes better and is made from better ingredients than supermarket almond fillings. Offers consistent results, too. Having a couple of cans in the pantry means I can make almond-filled pastries and breads without the fuss of mixing up my own filling - which I'm not good at. My friends and family love the taste.
Amazon's price is the best, too. You'll use up the six cans sooner than you might think.

I found a can of Solo almond filling in my cabinet. When I opened it, I fell in love. It was delicious right out of the can. I never got a chance to use it for baking because we ate it all. We used it as a topping for everything. Alas, when I looked at every grocery within 200 miles of my home, I couldn't find the Solo product. Then I found it on Amazon, and I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to 6 cans. So I waited awhile and when I finally decided I mistakenly bought this brand instead of the Solo. This one tastes good right out of the can but not as heavenly as the Solo. There is a slight bitter aftertaste which I think might disappear when baked, but I haven't tried that yet. This product is more dense, less liquid, than the Solo.

The product, Almond Smear, is great and a great price from Amazon. Amazon promoted 3 - 5 days shipping. It took over two weeks. Great product, disappointing deleivery service.

I don't make hundreds of rugelach at once so I end up with most of the can unused. I wish it came in a tube form. I don't really like the flavor because of the sameness although it saves me work. The simple rugelach dough recipe on the manufacturer's website is excellent.
