5Works great with a Keurig Brewer !!!Sep 02, 2009
By Cathy A
I really love my Keurig brewer but after my third purchase of highly priced tea and coffee K-cups I knew I needed a more cost efficient solution. I purchased a My K-cup for the unit which allowed me to use regular canned coffee but what was I going to do about the tea? I tried opening tea bags and using that tea but it was weak and flat. Next I tried using this tea and it worked perfect (but a word of caution...remove the tea leaves from the filter while moist to make removal easier). No more brewing an entire teapot for just a quick morning cup and no waiting for tea bags to brew and it tastes great!!! Not weak and off taste but perfect. My tea consumption has increased to the point that I now use the Amazon auto ship to receive 6 boxes at a time so that I never run out. If you have a Keurig and love tea this product is the perfect solution...you won't be disappointed.

5lipton loose teaAug 24, 2006
By L. Huffman
This loose tea is hard to find in stores, I had to order it online and discovered it's a better tea than I usually get with an added bonus of being less expensive so I'm very pleased. I use it only for iced tea, so can't say how it is when hot. It's a stronger tea so I use less. I hope you continue to carry it because I plan on buying more in the future.

4It Just Takes PracticeFeb 07, 2008
By Mom of Four Sons
Okay, I didn't read the description very well. I ordered "loose" tea on accident. By "loose" tea, I just thought it still meant it would be in a tea bag. I know, don't make fun of me. I just didn't read it well, and I am not an expert on tea. Being frugal like I am, I was forced to use the tea anyway. (I would still like directions on how to make it without a fancy strainer. It just went straight through my colander. hee hee) I put the recommended amount in the coffee maker and brewed it that way. It was way too strong. I was able to get three gallons of iced tea from the recommended amount for one. Anyway, after a lot of trial and error, I now have drinkable tea. Lipton has always been my favorite tea, and after I drink all of this that I purchased, I will probably stick with the loose tea. Frugality wins always...

5Great Iced tea!!!May 10, 2008
By Rebecca J. Thurston "Amazon Fanatic"
My family and I have been using this tea for over 40 years. I make the best unsweetened tea I've ever had with this tea, and get many many compliments on it. If you use good water, this tea will last for a day or two without refrigeration, which changes it's flavor. I am in South Texas and we take our tea very seriously down here. This strong, brisk, hearty brew is just the thing on a hot summer afteroon. I haven't experienced stained teeth or other ill effects, either. Using a drip coffee maker to brew it keeps it from overheating and getting bitter. It's healthy, too, with plenty of antioxidants in it's orange/black pekoe blend. If you try it and it's too strong, tinker with your recipe. Once you get the ratio right, you'll find it is delicious.

5Better TeaSep 05, 2008
By A. Murray
I love this tea. I am a long-time tea drinker, and purchased tea bags for longer than I want to count (or think about). A couple of years ago I decided to go for it...make loose tea, and deal with mess of leaves. And yes, I did know about strainers and tea balls, but I live in no man-s land. If it isn't prepackaged, it's unfit to ingest according to the natives. Good utensils are hard to find.

I finally found a wonderful BIG mesh tea ball. Ahhh, a tea drinker's best friend, right after a good English teapot.

The mesh ball in question is like the one sold here as a rule, by the way.

Tea is now a breeze to make, and absolutely delicious.

The loose packaged tea put out by Lipton is wonderful. It has a beautiful taste, unlike their teabags, which can be very iffy. I've had some that tasted like floor sweepings.

This loose tea seems amazingly consistent in flavor. I recommend it without reservation. And isn't Amazon just lovely...? They'll bring it right to your door. How much more could you ask?

Earlier I mentioned an English teapot. I favor Sadler's because of the excellent glaze, and the good material they use in the functional brown teapots they make.

A good teapot matters. Get yourself one, a nice tea ball, and some Lipton Loose tea and you will likely never use teabags again. If the tea is too strong, do it the way it's done in England; keep a very lightly boiling kettle going, and dilute with boiling water to your taste.
