Has TRANS-FATSMar 22, 2011
By Paradise Health Food I just want to point out that the phrase 'partially hydrogenated' is code for transfats. As the article at the following address ([...]) nicely explains and you can easily find elsewhere on the net- food manufacturers can claim '0' transfats if they have less than .5% of transfats. Whenever you see the phrase 'partially hydrogenated' on ANY food label-avoid that 'food.' For what it's worth Wyler's sodium free chicken and beef are just as bad for the same reason. The only thing our restaurant has thus far found that is BOTH sodium free AND without partially hydrogenated anything (other than going the organic vegan route which is what we do for our vegetable soup)is the Herb Ox brand. For the long-term health of their patients, the hospital should re-evaluate their decision to use this particular product (unless or until Legout removes their hydrogenated oils.)

Good soup starterOct 11, 2010
By Annie Ottawa Regional Hospital uses this base for their soups which my father-in-law just loves. Their nutritionist is helping me prepare low sodium and low potassium foods and told me about your product. The soups with this boullion are delicious, and my father-in-law is so happy and satisfied. I am looking forward to the beef flavor being available.
