Great Soy Sauce!Jan 18, 2011

I recently had the opportunity to visit China for several months and got to know a bit about the cuisine. One thing I learned was that there are many, many different soy sauces: red, dark, mushroom, etc. I love the Lee Kum Kee Dark Soy Sauce because of it's full bodied flavor (sounds like wine!)and it's less salty taste. The flavor of the food and sauce come through rather than salt. I highly recommend it.
The only concern I have is the expiration date. The product comes in packages of two and they are large bottles. If you don't do a lot of asian cooking it may expire before you can use it up.

Very good tasting, very dark and flavorful, don't think I could ever go back to ordinary Soy Sauce. Will buy again when I run low. Also fairly thick, sticks to the food better.

HELLO I PURCHASED THIS ITEM THRU WE ARE GOURMET AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT THE RESPONSE TO MY CONCERN WAS A LITTLE SLOW IN COMING WHICH THEY EXPLAINED WAS DUE TO THE CHRISTMAS RUSH. BEEN THERE DONE THAT. IN THE END I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. ON THE OTHER HAND I ALSO PURCHASED PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM LEE KUM KEE THAT EXPERIENCE WAS 100% NOT SATISFACTORY. I AM FROM NORDSTOM'S COUNTRY AND MAYBE THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS SPOILED ME?? ALL THE MORE REASON TO ONCE AGAIN PAT WE ARE GOURMET ON THE BACK
