I was so excited when I read the reviews for these candies. I remember those wonderful dark raspberry shaped candies that came in a tin given to me on special occasions when I was a kid. THESE ARE NOT SAME. I was hoping to give these out to my nieces and nephews for a special treat but NO WAY. They are stale, tasteless, powdery white on the outside and not worth a nickle. Might as well be handing out a bag of DUM DUMs.

These are identical to a similarly packaged product called "Tissot's" which I remembered from when I was a child. I searched the Internet and found the "Tissot" name associated with watches, not the candy I remembered from so long ago so I searched Amazon for raspberry candy. Here I found Le Vie. These are terrific, shaped like little raspberries with authentic taste just like I remember. I can't wait to try cherry and lemon!

They no longer sell these in any stores around my area. I used to buy them when I was much younger and enjoyed them so much. They have the same great taste.

I ordered several of these candies in different flavors. They were NOT made in France as stated. These were used as favors for a french themed event. Unfortunately it was too late to return them before the event. Sadly I was disappointed. We used them anyway and hoped that people didn't notice that they were made in Spain.
