I was very excited to get this product as I used to love their toasted pumpkin seed oil. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the pistachio flavor. So because of the price & lack of taste, I wouldn't purchase it again.
Great company though. Michael is a great guy.

Pistachio oil and the quest for its usesJul 19, 2011
By truffle I love pistachio nuts and I also like working with nut oils of all kinds. I had not even thougth of using pistachio oil. After purchasing this oil and using it once as a salad dressing(spinach, nectarines and toasted pistachios) I am sold and am on a hunt for more ideas..I would welcome ideas.
Great Pistachio OilJan 18, 2012
By Raymond L. Payne Ordered the La Tourangelle Roasted Pistachio Oil, 8.45-Ounce Tin. Arrived before I thought it would, super well packed for shipping. I opened and tasted it immediately to check its freshness. The pistachio nuts tasted like they had been freshly roasted, ground, and squeezed. The oil exceeded my expectations. Will buy more and share the experience with friends (cooks and chefs).

By Lulu Smith Nut oils are good for you. So is olive oil. But I don't much like olive oil. So I mix them on my salad. I bought La Tourangelle (how do you pronounce Tourangelle?) pistachio along with hazelnut and a couple of other nut oils. I now like the zing of my salad much more. My only complaint is that the bottle is a flimsy metal, and it bent in the shipping. However, it is still fresh and useable.
