You don't taste the squash, actually you don't taste anything but rice, even though I used 1/2 cup of white wine in the initial cooking stage. The rice itself is quite large, but it did cook up quickly in my rice cooker. My family did eat it and said they liked it, but this was after I added seasoning and a can of seasoned tomatoes. The package says 6 servings, but it's more like 4 servings. Save your money and just add your own ingredients to rice.
