I've been using this mix for years, but in order to get the kind of scone I love - more British than anything else - I don't follow their recipe. Simply take the mix from the box, add heavy cream instead of water or milk, and flour your board with a half and half mixture of flour and granulated sugar. After you've formed your scones and put them on a cookie sheet, let it sit for about 10 minutes (to allow rising) before you put it into the oven. You will be amazed at how much better these scones will be than anything you've ever had before.

this is the most delicious scone mix there is. try these scones with raspberry jam and your taste buds will relish the moist taste of the scones as they crumble in your mouth.

My husband and I run a B&B and are also opening a tea room. Having a good scone mix is important to us. Maddeningly enough, we cannot purchase either the Krusteaz Scone Mix or the Fisher's Scone Mix anywhere locally. So, I have ordered both mixes recently through Amazon.com. The Krusteaz Mix is surprisingly good in quality and very useful to us. It compares favorably with the Fisher's Mix, which is famous in its use at state fairs and other public functions. Thank you.

CONTINENTAL MILLS produces a number of good products and we feel Krusteaz Scone Mix is one of them. We have had it a number of times and it is a winner.
Served with butter, jam, tea or coffee it is perfect.

These are the quick and easiest scones to make! I have been making the Krusteaz brand scones for over 10 years and they are always a favorite with my friends and family. Usually, I add currents to the mix, but I have also added dried cherries, almond extract, and cinnamon chips (not at the same time!). If I want them a little sweeter, I drizzle a little powder sugar frosting over the top. I have tried other mixes, but I always return to Krusteaz! Yum, Yum!!
