I've eaten these on and off for a long time, probably more than 10 years at this point, and although Knorr has undoubtedly been a detriment to the product in its efforts to cut down on costs, the chicken and broccoli variety holds up quite well to this day. I keep these around for nights when I don't feel like cooking, and they're very easy to make, particularly if you use the microwave. A bit of water and butter, 12 minutes in the microwave, and dinner is ready.
A few things to note:
-This side dish is now half rice, half vermicelli pasta these days.
-If you leave it in the microwave for even a few minutes after it's finished cooking, whatever sauce might have been left to moisten the dish WILL dry out quickly, leaving you with an edible, but not ideal meal.
-While the dish has enough salt in the seasoning mix to make most people cringe upon looking, it tastes much better if you add some fresh pepper to it after cooking. It gives a bit of an extra note where there is otherwise a pretty heavy chicken flavor throughout. The broccoli does not come through all that great, but it does cut the chicken enough to merit buying the one with broccoli over the plain chicken variety.

I live in a dorm where I can only cook using a microwave, and I found knorr sides to be perfect for that. This one tastes pretty good, although not the best of the knorr sides. Cooks in only 12 minutes in the microwave.
