Dinner yes, lunch noNov 21, 2009

"catatomes"
I originally purchased the Sides Plus because I've always liked the Knorr line and I was looking for something microwavable for cool/cold weather lunches at my desk. Many things (like the Ramen I love) are terrible when it comes to nutrition, while others are almost as expensive as going out to lunch. So I thought I'd give this a try. And while the flavor is good, there are too many servings, thus creating leftovers that must be dealt with safely (no fridge), and the caloric count is higher than I'd like (and I omit the optional oil). So the rest of my Sides Plus are being moved over to the dinner menu and I'll continue the search for a one dish, one serving, microwavable, satisfying, nutritious, low to moderate sodium and calorie, inexpensive, hot lunch solution.

Not Asian Cafe but still goodOct 24, 2009
By E. Maddox I bought these on the spur of the moment, had some leftover ham today and snipped it into some olive oil and then followed directions. It was a pleasing lunch, not gourmet, but I think better than many packaged foods available these days. I would recommend it. The green peas always get to me, and they weren't mush, so the nice color and the texture is enough to make me buy again. I will be glad come bad weather over winter to have these on the pantry shelf. Next time I will probably try some scrambled egg and ham with the package.

Nice flavorOct 13, 2009
By A. Tollis The product has a nice flavor, but it doesnt REALLY taste like fried rice(that you would find say in a restaurant). Tastes like most packaged rices, but it is a good way of getting veggies into kids.
