My store quit carrying this product. I panicked! But, only for a moment. I knew I could find it online and I did! Got Fast service! I can't do without my German food and this makes the best tasting pot roast around. I've saved a link to this site for future purchasing.

nothing can compare to knorr stew or sauerbraten package mixes... the sauerbraten mix is incredible...i wish more people would find out about it and try it...they only troube is... they are hard to find in supermarkets... get 'em while you can.

I used this product many years ago and liked the results. Recently I decided to use it for a dinner I was preparing for guests. Unfortunately I tried all our grocery stores (6) and none of them had this Knorr product. I was so please to find that I could get it at Amazon. My sauerbraten dinner was a success!

Using this mix, you can create authentic sauerbraten in only hours instead of days! To finish, I recommend crushing two or three gingersnaps to fine crumbs and stirring them into the gravy before serving. For a richer taste, stire in 1/4 c. sour cream. Either way, it's deliscious!

I learned to use this while in Germany for a year. My friend showed me how to use it as a base for his recipe (red wine, Lots of onions and vinager) and it makes great Sauerbraten. It is not available for me in my area so this works great for me.
