Highly AddictingJan 23, 2012
By Michelle Nguyen I'm a big soy sauce fan but after tasting Memmi Noodle Soup Base, I don't think I can ever go back. It tastes much less salty and has a lot more sweetness (without being overly sweet) than regular soy sauce. I should probably actually try it as a soup base sometime, haha, but it's great over veggies and rice!
Awesome!Oct 10, 2011
By Silverglade Although it says "Soup Base" on the bottle, my family hardly uses it for that purpose. It works great for everyday cooking and I would describe it as a sweet soy sauce. Try it on any type of meat and cooked vegetables. You can get a 20oz bottle for ~3-4$ at an Asian market.
Great For Dipping!Jan 15, 2010
By M. Bowen My mother-in-law introduced me to this sauce years ago and I have loved it ever since. Me and my kids cant live without it! Try it with a little rice vinegar added and it is a great dipping sauce for egg rolls, california rolls and gyozas. I would have given this 5 starts but find that it is a little on the pricey side here. I can buy a big bottle of this at my local asian market for about $3 a bottle.

This is a wonderful addition to soup stocks or packaged ramen in place of the "flavor packet". I use it often and enjoy the unique flavor it adds to chicken stock or water. Well worth experimenting with.
