Good Cereal...could've been betterJun 23, 2008
By D. Rollo The cereal is tasty, although, it would've been better if it were actual graham crakers covered in chocolate. It's more a mixed nugget made to look like graham crackers. If it were more like a golden grahams type of cereal, it would be better.
Careful of sugar, not real grahamsJan 09, 2012
By Paulette Johnson I'm just learning of the problems with grains and cerals in our diets, but this also has lots of sugar. No surprise there given most cereals do. Perhaps if this had an actual graham cracker taste I think the cereal could justify the sugar if your family doesn't overdo the eating of it.
Not really s'mores, but kids love itJul 31, 2010
By Noname My children picked out Smorz at the grocery store. It's not my first choice, as I can tell it is obviously very sweet. I think that's the selling point. It actually tastes sweeter than the amount of sugar it contains -- 13 grams per 1 cup serving. Yes, that's sweet, but I've seen cereals with more than that.
I don't think it tastes like s'mores at all, just generic sweet chocolaty cereal with dehydrated marshmallows. Not bad at all, but I can't have too much for all the sweetness.
My kids like it and I don't object too much. At least it's fortified.
Expensive way to get products you missNov 01, 2009
By Franklin E. Blevins Working overseas for the Military has its rewards, but it also has its disadvantages. The PX system tends to provide the basic items for purchase and so after a while you simply get tired of eating the same thing over and over and over. So you go online to purchase those items that you remember loving to eat.
And so I went looking for Kellogg's Smorz Cereal and had no problem finding it. But wow, $7.50 per box by the time you get through with shipping.
Still the product arrived within the time promised and the product was in good condition, so I rate this a 4 stars based on the condition of the product and the fact that it did not arrive late. This loses one star because of the high price.
