USDA certified organic, minimally processed preservatives. Kashi began with a healthy epiphany. Back in 1984, we discovered the goodness of whole grain nutrition and were so passionate about our newfound knowledge, we wanted to share it with others. After mixing grains and seeds for months, we chose the unique blend of Seven Whole Grains and Sesame for its supreme nutritional profile — a vegetarian source of protein and complex carbohydrates that’s hearty, satisfying, and energizing. A Light Cereal With A Balanced TasteSep 15, 2009
By Philip R. Heath

Strawberry Fields is a great cereal in Kashi's Organic Promise line. It has a very balanced taste between the long grain rice and wheat flakes and the strawberries and raspberries. The flakes are sweetened with a combination of evaporated cane juice and brown rice syrup for a light, natural sweetness. The flakes are crisp and maintain the crunch in milk without being overly hard. This cereal is also not very dense with a full one cup serving clocking in at only 120 calories. The trade off that you make is that this cereal is fairly low in fiber compared to other Kashi cereals such as Autumn Wheat or Go Lean Crunch - both of these are in the neighborhood of 200 calories for a one cup serving. If you are satisfied with the nutrition decision, you will almost certainly like the taste. I found it to be essentially what I had expected the first time that I had it, and I've been eating it periodically for years now. I like to rotate among the various Kashi cereals from week to week in order to maintain some variety. I highly recommend Strawberry Fields for anyone looking for a lighter cereal with a balanced taste.

Great cereal!Jun 13, 2008
By Shane Conder This cereal is great! It's fully organic; every ingredient is something you'll immediately know. Nothing with a strange name or artificial.
It doesn't contain anything extra, so the vitamin content isn't what you'll find in the non-organic cereals. The taste, though, is wonderful.

organic cornflakesJun 23, 2008
By Douglas L. Dean If only they put more in the box. They put plenty of dried berries in the box, it is just that I cannot get enough of this stuff. I really like it with organic chocolate soy milk. I did find that a local discount food store carries this product at roughly the same price but it is nice to have amazon deliver to your door.

This is my favoriteFeb 06, 2009
By Soe Mi Kyeong This is so far my favorite. I usually eat heart to heart.I tried island vanilla and i loved it. I got this strawberry fields at local market for 2.99 and island vanilla for same price. It wasn't surprising sale or anything. They always have that price. I looked it up on amazon and i was so shoked. The price is too expensive here. i thought amazon provide lowest food prices. But i figured it is not even close to low.

Good taste, thoughJun 28, 2011

Hi everyone, they just arrived yesterday and I had the ability to eat these for breakfast today :) Though when I opened the box and saw how much was actually in the bag, I couldn't help feeling a bit robbed. After a normal bowl sized serving, there seemed to still be a lot left, so...at least appearances could be a bit deceiving in a good way. The problem of the flakes being too hard that I read about in other reviews thankfully I thought they weren't too bad, just crunchy. There does seem to be a lot of strawberries and raspberries which is good, and it does taste good and fills you up.
Edit: finished the first box within 3 days
