 Love this cereal, decent protein amount, good taste, high fiberJun 13, 2009

I found this cereal in a local store when I was searching for a good breakfast cereal that met my needs. I wanted one with good taste, high fiber, and some protein. I found this Vanilla Fields that fits my needs and then some. In a 55 gram serving it has only 1 gram of fat, no saturated fat, no sodium, 6 grams if fiber, 9 grams of sugar, and 6 grams of protein. It is also made organic which is an added plus. I have one serving topped with 1 cup of Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla (40 calories). I also enjoy the Cinnamon Harvest but it does not have the protein like this one.
I purchased this with the auto-delivery plan and saved some money. In the store one box costs from $3.20 to $4.99 depending on location, plus tax.

I have tried many of Kashi's cereals and I have really liked most of them. I think that this may be my favorite. Nice crunchy wheat cereal, lightly sweet, with a nice touch of natural vanilla. YUM!! I also like the nutritional stats...lots of fiber and 6g odf protein. Awesome! This cereal tastes great and fills me up until lunch time. Thanks for another awesome cereal Kashi.

This is my favorite cereal. Great nutritional value and it is delicious. I saw some of the reviews mention that when you add milk, it dilutes some of the vanilla taste. For anyone who enjoys soy milk, try it with vanilla silk (soy) milk, they go very well together!

As a fan of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats growing up, I'd say I might be a bit biased to shredded wheat cereals. However when it comes to Kashi, as much as I love their crackers, cookies, and breakfast bars, I have never found a cereal that had any flavor! Until now! This cereal is great in all aspects. The vanilla flavor isn't sickeningly sweet, the crunch is great, and you can't beat the fact that it is so healthy as well. Whenever I eat this for breakfast, it fills me up better than any other easy/quick breakfast items. Definitely love this cereal!

As a fan of shredded wheat type cereals, the cereal pieces are the right size and have a great crispiness. And I love vanilla, but the mixture in the cereal is not quiet right. Maybe it needs more vanilla. To me it just has an odd flavor, bordering on a stale flavor.
