Most boxed noodle/rice meals never have enough flavor for me. Ka-Me is a nice exception to that trend. Their Red Curry rice is nice and spicy with plenty of heat for those like me who like things with strong flavors. The rice is ok; it's not jasmine or long grain by any stretch, but it also isn't flavorless and too sticky like many pre-packaged rice meals. At only 230 calories, 5 grams of fat, and a relatively low 490mg of sodium, these are pretty healthy for an instant meal.

If you are expecting Red Curry that is as good as your favorite Thai Restaurant, you are going to be disappointed. However, if you begin with the assumption that the this is boxed, unrefrigerated food, you'll likely enjoy this Red Curry with Rice. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer, that mentioned a chemical flavor, is talking about. Perhaps he's never had curry before. While it isn't the best curry I've ever had, it certainly doesn't have a chemical flavor.
My summary would be that I have eaten dozens of these boxes over the last year (we stock them in our pantry at work) and have chosen these over several other items that I could choose from.

I bought this for lunches at college this term, without having tried it before. I pretty much only eat microwaveable food these days, so I am used to sacrificing a little flavor or texture for convenience.
The ingredient list on this stuff must be intentionally missing something because it has the strongest chemical odor and taste imaginable. Imagine eating rice with WD40 or antifreeze. It is really that bad. Now I am stuck with 23 boxes that I am never going to eat. Even if you have no taste buds at all, don't buy this. It has to be unhealthy to eat something with this many unlisted chemicals.
