I guess I expected a "huge" punch of bacon flavor and it was only so-so. I've used it on eggs, baked potatoes, popcorn and pasta salad. Again, just so-so.

When there is no time for bacon, there is time for bacon salt! I bought my Dad some of this as he thinks pretty much everything that isn't a dessert should be flavored with bacon. He loves it and I have already had to order a refill as he was running out! So if you love the taste of bacon but don't always have the time to cook some, you can toss some of this on there and it is a tasty substitute.

because it isn't bacon. It tastes like Baco's, which don't taste like bacon. I fail to understand how anyone who really loves bacon can be satisfied with an imitation.

I originally bought one bottle of the Bacon Salt as a Christmas present for my husband. We decided to put it on Kraft Macaroni and Cheese as a taste test.
One bite and we knew we had to buy more. One bottle was not going to be sufficient.
This stuff is good on pretty much anything, though so far, the macaroni and cheese is the best flavor combination. I can also confirm that it is excellent on baked potatoes, pizza and veggie burgers.
It gets bonus points from me because I'm sensitive to greasy foods, so I don't get to eat a lot of real bacon. The only disappointing part is that our local grocery store doesn't carry it -- they only sell Baconnaise (which I've yet to try). Thankfully, Amazon's great deals save the day!

I have high blood pressure and try to stay away from bacon because it has so much sodium. This seasoning gives me an excellent taste of bacon and very little sodium. It is a blessing 'cause I love the flavor of bacon. Thanks.
