Izze - An awesome New Drink, Finally in a Can!!!Apr 21, 2008

Izze All Natural Sparkling Juice, Clementine, 8.4-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24)
There are a lot of specialty soda bottlers in my area of the country, and when I saw the Izze bottled sampler packs last year I decided to give them a try. Well I'm glad I did, Izze is a great tasting product that will help to ease some of the guilt of drinking soda.
It's cool that this is made with fruit juice and sparkling water, but that still means that there's plenty of sugar in here. I personally don't mind the fruit sugar, but some might.
I have tried four of the five flavors here. Pomegranate and grapefruit were my favorites. Each tasted just like Orangina would if it were made from those fruit juices. Apple and blackberry were also good, but I definitely felt there might have been more sugary sweetness in those. Still, they are all good. I can't wait to try the Clementine next.
These new cans mean that getting a subscription from Amazon is a more worry free proposition. The only negative I can give to these cans is that they are very small for me. Perhaps that is part of the health conscious marketing effort, and I'm sure it will be enough for many people. For me, I just feel like I have to drink two of these cans to get close to one beverage.
Still there are plenty of cans in this case to last a while, and I'm sure subscribers are going to start coming in. Give it a try!
Enjoy.

ADIOS SODA POP!May 02, 2008
By Mark F. Braun Izze's blackberry is all natural, packed into a small but perfect 8.5 ounce can and way, way better than soda. no weird additives, no sugar other than the natural sweetness of the juices used (apple being pretty much #1). Very refreshing with no lingering jonesin' for soda aftertaste.
Soda contains a chemistry set of corn syrup and other what-is-its. I began to distrust it when I thought about it: what's in there that can make a semi-rational human being consume a Big Gulp(tm) but if you tried that with water, you'd have a tough time swallowing it? Soda, let's face it, is really, really bad stuff.
so, enter carbonated juices. Woo-hoo! Respectable fizzy stuff for adults! Izze's juices have a very good carbonation and are sized correctly: no 32 oz. sugar-buzzer, just quality and worth EVERY penny and the time to find them.
Have a case and will stock these at home for friends. I'm proud to be an Izze fan and very happy to talk it up!

Working MomApr 18, 2008

I was so excited to get Izze in the cans on Amazon. I love this soda - very healthy and natural. I'm going to add two subscriptions for it - one to come to me at work and one to come to my house. And I love that I can switch off among the flavors each month if I want to. This is great - thanks Amazon!

No Big Deal--Acidic, weak flavorSep 07, 2008
By Mir You'd get a much better product just squeezing some tangerine juice and adding a spritz of sparkling water or soda water. Honestly, I was disappointed.
I decided to try this based on the 5-star reviews and noticing it sells well at the local Target. However, I found it very acidic, not sparkly enough to dazzle, and not sweet enough to pique my interest. I'd call it a so-so option for those not wanting a regular type soda.
Still, YMMV. Enough folks here love it to say it might be worth it for you to try and make up your own mind. I won't be repurchasing.

Smiliar to FizzEd (with less Sodium)Apr 25, 2008
By Victor Blake Izze fruit juice and sparkling water is essentially the same product as FizzEd, a similar product from Apple and Eve. Both products come in a variety of (the same) flavors, 8.5oz cans, and are 70% fruit juice. The product tastes great. The only difference I can tell is that Izze claims to be vitmain fortified. It looks as if they use Vitamin B6 additive (which may also act as a preservative). One other significant difference is that Izzie contains 15mg sodium (or about 1/2 of the typical) FizzEd drink. So if you are Sodium sensitive or conscious, you may prefer Izze.
