I always enjoyed the cinnamon chip scones at Starbucks but since they have gone "no transfats" I think all their scones taste odd. I never had them very often but once and a while, I still want a cinnamon scone. I happen to see this mix while looking for cinnamon chips on the Amazon site. The mix is very easy to prepare and the scones are delicious, a nice treat.

Iveta scone mix is better than the ones I had made from scratch. They were so good I actually did a whole blog entry on them! One word of caution. If you like the more dense, traditional scones you going to be disappointed in these. These are are very light and tender scones.

I tried to make my own cinnamon chip scones from scratch and didn't even compare to their mix Iveta was faster and cheaper and way better. Can't wait to try all their flavors.
