Love this stuff, but have learned the hard way that this is one of those tricky, well-disguised sources of gluten (verified via [..] after suspicious encounter).
I would give five stars if judging solely on taste and overall value, but they lose one for containing unnecessary gluten, and another for not openly disclosing it on the package or website.

I like the taste of this dressing, but realized that it contains the additive mono sodium gluconate. This chemical gives me migraines, which is very difficult to tolerate. I am sorry to say that I will no longer purchase this dressing unless they remove this flavor enhancer.

Is MSG really necessary Hidden Valley? I bought a large container from Sams club last year and used up 75% of it. I decided to read the label today (should have read it sooner) and the third ingredient is MSG. Ingredients are labeled in order of the amount in the product, which means this has a lot in it. I will not buy this product or any of their products ever again, and I suggest nobody else does either. We don't need MSG in our products!
