"The Collard Patch"
This box of the most magnificent flavor in the world -- Hershey's Cocoa (Hershey's Cocoa, Natural Unsweetened, 8-Ounce Can (Pack of 6))-- contains the secret of my favorite childhood food memories. My mother could take a box of Hershey's Cocoa and produce a wonderland of culinary treasures. My brother and I convinced her that we could not drink milk unless it was hot cocoa. She wanted us to drink milk; so she made us hot cocoa. She taught me how to do it when I was quite young.
The cake! She could make an old-fashioned chocolaty chocolate cake with the fudge frosting that she could make perfectly by cooking it until it was in a soft-ball stage. We found a cake like that at a church bake sell this week. Awww! So good! The candy, the brownies, chocolate pudding . . . her food was marvelous all because of the good old-fashioned cocoa.
Many members of my family and many of my friends love Hershey's cocoa too. Is there any other brand? Here's a neat little recipe that is hard to find these days. This one, along with several others, is in Flavored with Love: Mary Lou's Family and Friends Can Cook. A friend gave it to me, and Paul and I cooked it on a local early morning television show.
Chocolate Drops
2 cups sugar
¼ cup cocoa (Hershey's, of course!)
½ cup evaporated milk
1 stick margarine
½ cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups minute oats
Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for 1 minute. Drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper.
Adding 1/2 cup of toasted pecans enhances the texture and taste of these delicious cookies.
I'm very glad that Amazon has started stocking this product. It is an American classic. I always have it in my kitchen.
The ingredient in this fantastic box is cocoa, and cocoa is healthy. There are 20 calories in 1 tablespoon. It contains fiber, carbohydrates, and fat. There are always foolproof recipes on the box.
Get yourself some Hershey's cocoa and savor it.

I bought the Hershey's Cocoa (original, with nothing added)because I am a diabetic and I cook with anything that has no additional sugar in it and this product is great. It is wonderful for custards, drinks and baking like it has been for years. I was not able to find the product in the store, but I did find it on Amazon.com

I love making brownies often, and this cocoa powder is key to making them. The quality of the product is consistent. You get six in a pack - mine had some powder that seemed to have escaped to the outside of the packages, but upon checking, the seals were intact for all of them. It must've happened at the plant or something. Anyway, this cocoa is great. I like being able to save money with the subscribe and save, it's cheaper than grocery store.

I bought a box of Hershey's Cocoa last year and didn't finish it till now!! It contained much in the box. I really like it since it's not at all sweet and it has a very strong chocolate flavor that I cannot resist. I think it's a good choice for those who are on a diet because it's healthier and has less Calories than chocolate powers from other brands.
I bought some more this time and sent them to my friends as presents. They love it!!

What a great way to buy drygoods. This is the same cocoa as from the grocery store. Less expensive and way more convenient. I wish all my groceries could be delivered so fast.
