 No additives goodness!May 28, 2011

Another great British Heinz product. No additives, but only the simple ingredients. It's nothing special Potato & Leek Soup, but home made taste, which I value most. What I usually do is to use a can of this and add broth and milk to make it in double the amount. I'll add freshly cut potatoes and green onions to the soup for more volume. As a matter of fact, you can add pretty much anything you want to make it a bigger batch!

I bought this to have on the shelf for a quick meal. It is very very rich and I suspect would fare better as a cup appetizer before a full meal, and not as a meal. I think most people would enjoy it. I am not certain, however, that I will repeat the purchase. I think I am more satisfied with a homemade potato soup.

This is nice soup, however 7 out of 8 cans were dented, many were seriously dented.
I would only buy this on extreme sale because of the dented cans. I give the soup 4 stars and the cans 0 stars.

This soup is tasty and arrived just fine with one small dent on a can. I would expect a dent or two. The soup is not as good as I anticipated and I may not order it again. However, it is a very nice change for something different. I added fresh sauteed leeks to one can and it did wonders.
