Best, Most Unique PancakeOct 02, 2007
By MercedesSL5 I found this pancake mix a few years back in one of our local stores in Washington. Unfortunately the store stopped carrying the product and I had a hard time finding them again. This mix is the only mix my kids ask me for on a regular basis, still. It has been about 2 years since I have seen them in a store (we moved) but almost 2 or 3 times a month (every Saturday) they ask if I found them. What a pleasent suprise to find them on Amazon.
They truly are a unique pancake that is hard to discribe. We like them with jelly or syrup. Either one is fantastic!

I don't like pancakes but I love this mix!Feb 11, 2008

I really do not like pancakes but was intrigued by the description of this and it is really delicious. There is no need to add any kind of syrup or other topping - they are good enough to eat straight out of the pan - as verified by everyone in my family of four (and my kids would normally never think of eating pancakes without syrup). The only things I would add are: I wish this was made with whole wheat flour and one thing the box does NOT say is that the mix will be way too dry if you make it up per the directions on the box. I had to add about 1/4 cup of milk to make it a good consistency for making pikelets, and you would probably want to add a little more milk to make pancakes.

A-MAZE-ING!!!!!Jan 12, 2008

These are the best pancakes I've ever tasted. The are a little thick when you're putting the batter together and cooking them, but they taste so creamy when you're eating them. I really like topping them with some chopped strawberries and Splenda.
