Disgusting and lacks meatNov 21, 2007
By Mr. Fred We found this to be completely disgusting. It had an odd flavor that made one wonder if it spoiled in some way. There were maybe two very small pieces of meat (in no way would one ever call it steak) in each of the 3 bowls we tried. The remaining 9 bowls will be thrown out.
Try one of the Chicken bowls and pass on this one.

No flavor, metallic tasteMay 28, 2008
By Constance Not very appetizing. It is flavorless and watery and left a metallic taste that lasted a long time, and the noodles looked like brown leather. And what little flavor there was, was disgusting. It contains 14oz and each serving is 1 cup, which is 8oz, so in order to stick with 1 serving and be "healthy", you should eat less than half of this small container? That's not very much to eat for lunch. Also, if you ate all the soup in this little container, you'd have consumed 805mg of sodium, or 35% of what is recommended by the American Heart Association. Not worth it to me.

HorribleMay 22, 2008
By D. frantz I took this to work to keep in my desk in case I couldn't get out if it snowed. I shared it with several others who were also snowed in and we all ended up throwing it out. We all opted to eat the office saltines and hot chocolate rather than choke this down. I thought the flavoring was off but maybe it was rancid.

I have a 1/2 eaten can/cup in front of me. I can not eat it, it tastes burned or spoiled or otherwise nasty. I put in a bunch of seasoning salt and while it helped I will not finish my bowl thing. The steak looks very low quality and is still though after sitting in the soup for weeks / months. Waste of my 2$. Least I didnt get a case like the other reviewer.

Whoever calls this soup must be mistaken. How this is soup I don't know, maybe the execs were really sick one day and just decided to throw up in a bunch of cups and market it as soup (The "2 Girls 1 ______" videos, anyone?). The meat tastes disgusting, it's prolly spoiled meat. If it's not that, then I don't know what it is! I've never seen such ugly noodles in my life too. THe veggies must be colored mashed potatoes, they fall apart in your mouth (and not in the good way). I'm pretty sure the excecs of HC are laughing and going "Haha you just wasted your tastebuds!!!".
