best soup aroundApr 04, 2012

The soup may not appeal to some because it does not have the phony 'smoked ham' taste that people like in split pea.....it's creamy (if you put less water in) and right now, it appears they have d/c all of their dried soup, tho Hain Celestial says it is NOT d/c.....I can't find it, I ordered thru Amazon, and then order 2 was cancelled, out of stock, and it's not here now.....I ate the soup about 5 times a week....would buy 20 cases now just to have if it's going out of style... This is the only soup I will eat! It's quick, easy and tastes delicious - plus it's really filling without being heavy (since it's not packed with oil and sodium like most soups). I'd highly recommend it....and have been using it for many, many years.
I loved itJun 17, 2009
By Green Giraffe Rather, my dad did. Considering how all the other reviews were so negative, I was surprised when he said, "Out of this world" (in a good way). He's happy with it, so I'm definitely buying these again.

I bought this soup because they stopped selling Dr Mcdougalls. This stuff is gross, and there's 35% MORE of it. I think the soup is so bad because the dried onions and carrots are raw.
Not a good idea. In order to make this soup palatable, I put three "mini moos" in it after it's softened up enough. I eat this for lunch at work, and thank god I'm almost through the pack.
One positive is that the soup IS nutritious and full of fiber.

I bought this for my husband to take in his lunch, he loves split pea soup. He said this is the worst soup he's ever had, it was just awful. Not recommended at all.
