First:
You can read and understand every ingredient in these Health Valley products! None of them would sound foreign to you.
They are all natural, and this is good for you.
Second:
It tastes wonderful! Many Americans (respectfully :- are used to being fed overly salted, sugared, and processed foods, which
is why their palates are destroyed, and so they can't appreciate good flavor in natural occurring foods. If one stops eating
salt and sugar heavy foods, then within 2 - 3 weeks they'll start sensing the good flavor in natural organic products,... including
the excellent flavor of this Health Valley product series. =:)

I was buying this soup at my local Health Food Store, but the price kept going up each time I ordered a case. I think it was $38.00 per case when I thought about Amazon. Sure enough there it was and for a much better price.
This is a good, healthy soup, but unfortunately about 2 years ago I noticed a change in the taste. I called the company and they had indeed changed the recipe. I still eat it, but I don't eat as much since the recipe change. It seems companies can't leave well enough alone...when will they learn not to mess with something and make it less desirable?
NOTE: I always add a healthy dose of fresh ground black pepper and eat it with a salty cracker or add a little salt to the soup.
Update 3-21-12: Unfortunately, this is no longer a bargain on Amazon as the price has risen more than $10.00 per case in the past year.

I know it's really good for you, has lots of good beans but I didn't care for the taste so much. This might be a great food to use in other dishes, like maybe chili?
