NOT SATISFIEDDec 07, 2010
By Al's opinions I purchased this product for years in a grocery store that no longer carries it, so I'm very familiar with it. The box was exactly as shown and correct, and the granola was great as always. However, the fruit packs are packaged separately in the box and out of the first 3 boxes I've used, the fruit pack was NOT date almond, but raisin, not what I wanted. I think the manufacturer is to blame, not Amazon since they can't open every box. I can live with the raisin because I do like the granola, but there are a lot of raisin granolas on the grocery shelves.
OK, not greatJun 11, 2009
By Miriam This granola has no actual almonds. It is also too sweet. Other than that it's OK. If you're looking for really good granola, try Udi's (available on Amazon, but not through Subscribe and Save).
Maybe Too Sweet is Just RightMay 21, 2007
By J. Nachison I don't sprinkle sugar on granola (as my mother once misguidedly did before judging it "too sweet"), but I eat Health Valley Date Almond almost every morning, with sliced strawberries and a glass of orange juice. Taste is, of course, as subjective as it comes, but this is my favorite cereal, so there you have it.
way too sweet...May 16, 2007
By Aline Andrade This granola and also the tropical fruit one, are both way too sweet. I usually eat sweet home farm low fat granola, and some people find that one too sweet also, I agree sweet home farm has a little too much sugar, but this one, is even hard to eat, I usually eat my granola with very little milk (1/4 of a cup for two servings) , this one the only way that I can eat is with unsweetened soy milk...and a lot of it, with all other brands that I tried I can use regular milk.
