Can't live without it, no other seasoned salt comparesJun 01, 2009

There is absolutely nowhere to find Goya's Adobo (seasoned salt) within an hour of where I live, and I grew up with it so what a relief to buy it in bulk and know I don't have to go on an expedition to hunt it down. Like our Supreme Court Justice nominee, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, I'm a Nuyorican, and yep, we're nuts for our special food, prepped just the way Mom did. Bet you anything she's got bottles of this stocked in her kitchen, too! The flavor's a must for Spanish rice with anything you like to add to it, and for stews, roasts and fried meats, and to make black beans (and any other kind you love. Garbanzo beans? Ummm!). It comes with lots of different added spices, but Cumin's my favorite. And free shipping when ordering $25 or more? Thanks Amazon!

this item is strictly a taste bud issue. if you like using seasoned salt and cumin this is a great item to have on hand. i'll be ordering more when needed, all though 4 of these (I shared two) will last me a very long time.

Adobo con Cumino is the best seasoning for everything you make. I am in the St. Louis area, and travel to Chicago every other weekend or so to pick up my Goya staples including Adobo and cafe... there's no replacement. Adobo makes everything taste amazing, just don't use too much.
