I used to have this dressing at home when I was a just a kid. I hadnt been able to find it until recently. This is an excellent dressing and you are incontrol of the quality of the oil that you use. The healthiest ones are: safflour oil and canola oil. Olive oil isnt bad.

I am so pleased with the Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mixes. I have always liked the product, but found it to be hard to find, and expensive, in a local grocery store. I have used this product for about 30 years or longer, and find it to be the best dressing mix for a fresh salad dressing. I use the mixture on seafood and vegetables, too. I will reorder this when the supply in my pantry gets low.

This is one of the great classics. My dinner guests often ask me what my salad dressing is (when I serve Italian dressing) & are surprised @ my reply, especially those who've never tried it. I like to make it with balsamic vinegar for an even better taste. It's also great when added to meatloaf and/or burger recipes or tossed on lightly oil-coated veggies for the grill. NOTE: you must decide how much you like to use for these suggestions. Sometimes we even halve an avacado and fill the cavity with this dressing (so as to eat with a spoon like one would a melon) and use that as our "salad". So worth it. Give it a try!

Have used this dressing mix for years. Good stuff and never the same twice, when used with different oils/vinegars/added ingredients. Much cheaper than bottled dressing, quick and easy to make, almost as good as homemade from scratch, but more convenient. Good drizzled on salads, hot or cold veggies--such as broccoli and snap beans and pasta/veggie salads. Much cheaper on Amazon than in my local stores! Love it!
