By D. Coyne I have been buying this product for years and all of a sudden it was no longer available at any of my local supermarkets. The mild flavor does not have the bite the original recipe has. I love this dressing and buying it by the case is at a tremendous savings as well. Bon Appetite!

Why is this dressing so hard to find?Oct 20, 2008
By Alton P. Tripp Good Seasons Mild Italian dressing mix has always been my favorite salad dressing, but it is not available in some parts of the country, and that has always puzzled me. I live in Virginia, and I always check to see if a store carries the product, and I've never found it. Prior to purchasing a case through Amazon, I had to import it from New England stores, where they still offer the product. Mild Italian dressing does not overpower salads, but rather adds a delicious combination of sweet, sour, salt, and spicy to almost any salad type. It is a very versatile product that works well with typical green salads, garden salads, fruity salads, and salads with grilled meats or cheeses. You can also create an excellent dijon-style dressing by combining it with a teaspoon or two of dijon mustard, and the result is excellent on salads with spinach, eggs, or fruits such as mangoes and citrus.

The Just Right ItalianMay 21, 2008

Although I enjoy all of the Good Seasons package salad dressings, the Mild Italian works the best for all types of salads and meals. Plus I love making it up freash when I want to use it. It is not a dressing that has been sitting on the store shelf for months and then months in the fridge trying to use it up.

Good Seasons Mild Italian dressing, low calorieAug 26, 2011
By KIT We have been using this packaged dressing mix for a number of years.
To make it lower in calories, we switch the amounts for water and for oil.
The taste is great and the calories are much, much less.
