I bought these "breadsticks" because they are gluten free and I suffer from coeliac disease. I have been gluten free for years and have many wonderful products to replace those gluten-filled products I so love...Chiba pizza crust, mi-del cookies, and many, many more.
These "breadsticks" are about 1 1/2" long and about as big around as my pinky finger (about the diameter of a first grader's first pencil). They are hard and crunchy, like a crouton, but not as flavorful. The picture on the box makes them look like, well, breadsticks...BUT DO NOT LET THAT FOOL YOU. They are nowhere near the size or consitency of breadsticks.
I was very, VERY dissappointed, especially since I had to order an entire case...oh well. Live and learn. They might be tastey to snack on, but don't think that they are anything like breadsticks...or bread...or sticks...well maybe like sticks ;)
Sorry for the bad review...I will try and make up for it on the next good product I buy.
I have ordered many gluten free items from Amazon since the grocery opened and this is the first one that did not meet my expectations.
Overall good job amazon, you've got some work ahead of you Glutino.

You know how sometimes, when you don't feel well, all you want are some crackers and soup? Then you remember you cannot tolerate the gluten in crackers! Well these are perfect. They are great when you feel fine as well as when you just need something light. They are nice and crispy with a slight sesame flavor. Delicious. They go great with cheese, in soups or just out of the box.
I am very happy to have found these, and the price can't be beat when you buy the case. MUCH much cheaper than the one box price at the health food stores.

I have a daughter with Celiac Disease who really misses authentic tasting bread items. She absolutely loves these, and I have to keep the rest of the family from eating them!!!

I do not have celiac disease, or any problem with gluten. I do work to limit my intake of carbohydrates and had begun eating breadsticks instead bread to get satisfying crunch with more calorie control. I love sesame seeds and tried these breadsticks. I was hooked! They are delightful and delicious and I prefer them to heavier Italian style bread sticks. And then one day, I couldn't find them anymore! I was told that they were discontinued "due to low sales" which was hard to believe given that I often cleared the shelf. I hope that putting my name on a list at Amazon to be notified "when available again" will tell Glutino that this product must be brought back!
