"mind the gapper"
Love their tortilla chips, so thought I'd try these. The reviews for the yellow corn shells were mixed- one liked them, the other seemed like they just got a bad case. I couldn't find them in my local grocery stores to try just 1 box to see if I liked them before buying a whole case of them. But, no worries... They arrived in perfect condition and were delicious! Much thinner and crunchier when heated than your standard Ortega or Old El Paso fare. They became very crispy with just a subtle, clean corn flavor when heated (I only heated for 4-5 min at 350). My hubby doesn't like the "musty" flavor (his description, not mine) that regular store brands have; even if it's way before the "sell by" date, he thinks they taste and smell stale. These shells don't have that problem, plus I like the fact that they're organic. I will definitely be buying them again!
