Yummy and HealthyOct 31, 2009

For alcohol-free vanilla, this one is both delicious and healthy. It is great to cook with or to add to your 'raw' recipes, and the flavor is very true. There is no 'off' flavor that some vanillas can have. It has only glycerine and water as additional ingredients. Some other alcohol-free vanillas have corn syrup, and who wants corn syrup? This can be hard to find in some stores. Our local organic grocer seems to have trouble ordering it for me (that would be on them, not on Frontier), so ordering through Amazon has proven to be very convenient. Enjoy!

Wonderful for Lattes and coffee drinksSep 15, 2010
By Welshdog I use this all the time in lattes and frozen frappe coffee drinks. Very smooth and doesn't have that alcohol bite regular vanilla extract. A very small amount goes a long way. Seems expensive, but it lasts a long time. I highly recommend this if you want a smoother vanilla flavor for drinks. I have not tried it yet in baked goods, but it should work there too.

This has a very strong vanilla taste to it, but the glycerin has a strange after taste to it. If you are using it in recipes where it is not very diluted (like a beverage) you might notice it. It's a little thicker than normal vanilla extract too. But if you are looking for a vanilla extract without the taste of alcohol (like a milkshake) it's a good choice. I've been using it in my protein shakes and it tastes good.

Vanilla flavorSep 12, 2010
By R. Perloff Mild vanilla flavor but nothing special. As I make my own ice cream, I'm very fussy about my flavorings. They need to be more intense than this one to get the flavor I want.
